Research Ethics and Governance Streamlining
The importance of further streamlined and coordinated research ethics and governance approval processes was identified and agreed to by the BDHP Board as one key focus of attention in Phase One of the Brisbane Diamantina Health Partners Strategic Plan 2015-2020 and referenced as a component of the BDHP Academic Health Research Passport.
The Human Research Ethics and Governance Working Group chaired by the BDHP General Manager was established to review the processes and timelines for Ethics and Governance approvals within the hospital, university and research institute partners and develop an agreed framework including umbrella agreements.
